Clever Camp programs from 2023 for your references.

Week 1. July 4 - July 7 (4 days week) and Week 2. July 10 – July 14
Science:
1. Civil engineering.

Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS;
We are starting our summer journey by building the perfect city. Children will have fun planning, building and constructing different city objects.
2. Robotics
Groups: INNOVATORS

Campers will learn the fundamentals of robotics by exploring the fields of

  • mechanical (3D design, 3D printing, electrical motors),
  • electrical (voltage, current, switches, basic circuits),
  • computer (Arduino programming)
  • putting the skills together to make an automated Nerf gun turret.

Week 3. July 17 – July 21
Science: Physics. All about Wind

Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
What is wind? What causes differences in air pressure? How do wind turbines work? Do you want to see a tornado in a jar? Our campers will explore everything related to the wind and weather this week. Campers will make their own wind vane, design a windsock and build a wind turbine.

Fine Art: Summer Inside and Out
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS

The Visual Art unit of our camp was created to inspire children with many drawing, painting, sculpting and decorative art techniques. During this week, campers will be introduced to still life and landscape genres. They will paint and draw and with clay, make plants and animals that are around us during the summer.

 Week 4. July 24 – July 28
Science:
1. Physics. All about Water

Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS;
Water is one of the most interesting matters on Earth. We will spend this week with activities built around it. Our campers will be engaged in the Oil Spill Cleanup challenge and build a dam.  We will try to carry water by aqueducts as the Ancient Romans did. By the way ... do you want to know more about the most famous ocean current?
2. Understanding AI
Groups: INNOVATORS
The week will offer a discussion on Artificial intelligence - the ability of a computer to think and learn. Do you think it is possible? Come and investigate with us!

Fine Art: Under the Sea
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
Our Fine Art topic this week is about the oceans, seas, lakes and rivers. It is a spectacular world under the sea!  We will investigate, draw, and paint creatures found there. Each student will create a sea creature that does not exist by becoming a sculptor.

Week 5. July 31 – August 4
Science:
1. Ancient military machines.

Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS;
Who attacked Troy? What power did they use? Learn about the power that people investigated hundreds of years ago.  The Roman ballista was a valued weapon in the army of the Roman Empire.  We will build our own!
2. Civil engineering (two weeks topic)
Groups: INNOVATORS
During this week, campers will investigate historical and modern Civil Engineering and be transformed into engineers and architects. Basic technical drawing skills will be mastered and implemented in the final project.

Fine Art: Journey to the History
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
What did the world look like a thousand years ago? What kind of clothes did people wear?  What kind of illustrations were in Ancient Byzantine books? Those kinds of questions inspired us when we were preparing the programme for this week.   Hmmm ....if we will be drawing a person in a historical costume, we need to learn how to draw the human. Right?

Week 6. August 8 – August 11
Science:

1. Physics. All about Power.
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
Lifts, overhead cranes, forklifts, jacks – we will become engineers and mechanics this week! We will learn how to make machines work for us.
2. Civil engineering
Groups: INNOVATORS
This program continues from Week 5.
Fine Art: Architecture
Groups: DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
During this week, we will investigate different architectural styles and try to create our own!

Week 7. August 14 – August 18
Science: Chemistry.

Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
Chemistry Week is traditionally one of the most fun of the year. With lots of hands-on activities and experiments, campers will delve deep into the world of chemical changes.

Fine Art: The Fairyland
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
A unique fairytale mood will fill this week. We will be inside the land of fairies and learn how to draw, paint, and sculpt them as well as other fairytale creatures.

Week 8. August 21– August 25
Science: Aerospace.
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
The final week of our camp will take us into space. We will investigate the solar system and make a model.  We will talk about Black Holes and Dwarf Galaxies. We will design a rocket that will be launched!

Fine Art: The Planet Far Away
Groups: EXPLORERS; DISCOVERERS; INNOVATORS
This week will be full of imagination supported by modern research about space and planets. We will paint an extraordinary landscape of real and imaginary planets.

Payment plan:
