We are excited to offer a variety of engaging clubs in Erudite, with a convenient pick-up from Swansea Public School. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in pick-up from St. Pius X Catholic School and Runnymede Public School.

The Erudite Clubs 2026–2027 term start and end dates are as follows:

  • Term 1:  September 9, 2026 - December 18, 2026; no clubs: October 12, November 20, 2026
  • Term 2: January 4, 2027 - March 12, 2027; no clubs: January 15, February 12, 15, 2027      
  • Term 3: March 22, 2027 - June 29, 2027; no clubs:   March 26, 29, May 24, June 4, 2027    

The Shevchenko School of Ballet 2026–2027 term dates will be confirmed and announced separately.

Erudite Clubs 2026-2027 Schedule & Fees

The daily club schedule after school, including pick-up, is as follows:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:

  • 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Pick-up, arrival at Erudite and snack time
  • 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Free play and snack time (Free time could be used for club if needed)
  • 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Club Time
  • 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Pick-up/playtime

Monday and Friday: 

  • 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Pick-up, arrival at Erudite and snack time
  • 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Club Time / The Shevchenko School of Ballet
  • 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Club Time / The Shevchenko School of Ballet

The Monday and Friday schedule is different to accommodate the Ballet classes; you may register for one Erudite club and one Ballet class on those days. 

Please note that during the first and last weeks of each term, some clubs may be replaced by Study & Play Atelier to accommodate schedule adjustments. Clubs with fewer than four registered participants may be cancelled. No clubs are scheduled on Erudite PA Days.

  • Club fee without pick-up: 4 pm - 6 pm
    • $30 per day
  • Club fee with pick-up: 3 pm - 6 pm
    • 1-2 clubs: $40 per day
    • 3-4 clubs: $38 per day
    • 5 clubs: $36 per day

The Club Fees are organized on a per-term basis, with two payment options available:

  • A single payment due by the first day of the term or
  • A commitment to year-long attendance, allowing for monthly installments. Please get in touch with Us to inquire about the yearly registration option.

ART CLUBS

Fine Art Atelier: Explorers (4/6 years)
The program fosters creativity and gives young artists opportunities to experiment with a variety of art materials and techniques. It serves as a preparatory level for the Core Visual Art Program at Art Atelier, helping students develop foundational artistic skills, confidence, and creative thinking.

Fine Art Atelier: Apprentices (6/7 years)
The first level of the Core Visual Art Program introduces students to a variety of artistic techniques and materials. Through engaging art assignments, the program encourages creativity, experimentation, and self-expression while helping students develop confidence in working with different media.

Fine Art Atelier:  Artists (8/9 years)
The second level of the Core Visual Art Program introduces students to classical drawing and painting. The curriculum focuses on developing strong hand-eye coordination through still-life assignments while building essential skills in drawing fundamentals, colour theory, perspective, composition, and a variety of drawing and painting techniques.


Fine Art Atelier:  Masters (9-14 years)
The third level of the Core Visual Art Program provides students with a deeper foundation in classical art education and supports their continued growth as visual artists. Students will advance their skills in drawing fundamentals, colour theory, two- and three-point perspective, composition, and a variety of drawing and painting techniques, including proper hatching, watercolour, and acrylic painting.
Students will also experience the complete artistic process, from developing an idea and planning a project to sketching and creating a polished final piece. The program is designed to help students build a strong body of work and gives those considering specialized art schools an opportunity to begin developing their art portfolios.

Fine Art Atelier:  Textile Arts (9 years and up)
Fine Art Atelier: Textile Arts is a creative hands-on club for students ages 9 and up that introduces the art of working with textiles and fibres. Students will explore tapestry weaving, hand sewing, and crochet while learning essential techniques and creating their own decorative and functional pieces. Through a variety of projects, students will develop creativity, patience, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for traditional and contemporary textile arts.
Fine Art Atelier:  3D Art Studio
Everyone loves creating in 3D! This popular club is offered at two age levels: ages 4–7 and ages 8 and up. Students will use their imagination and creativity to design and build three-dimensional artworks using a wide range of materials, including clay, plasticine, wood, wire, beads, and mixed media. Through hands-on projects, students will explore form, shape, texture, and structure while developing their artistic and fine motor skills.

MUSIC, DANCE AND GYM CLUBS

Musical Theatre Atelier (6-7 years; 8-14 years old)
Does your child love to sing? Musical Theatre Club is a dynamic performing arts program for students ages 6–14 who enjoy singing, acting, and being on stage. Students will develop their performance skills through vocal practice, acting exercises, stage movement, character development, and drama games, while learning to memorize and perform songs and dialogue.

By working together on a musical production, students will build confidence, creativity, stage presence, and teamwork skills. Throughout the year, the group will prepare for two performances—a Winter Show and a Summer Show—giving students the exciting experience of bringing a production from rehearsals to the stage.

Movement Atelier: Mini Movers (4/5 years) 
Movement Atelier: Mini Movers is an active and playful club for children ages 4–5 that encourages movement, coordination, and creative expression. Through fun games, music, dance, stretching, and age-appropriate movement activities, children will develop balance, flexibility, body awareness, rhythm, and gross motor skills. Mini Movers provides an energetic and supportive environment where children can build confidence, stay active, and enjoy moving together.

Monday and Friday Programs From The Shevchenko School of Ballet

Erudite provides students with the opportunity to participate in professional ballet classes with the Shevchenko School of Ballet. Through structured ballet training, students develop dance technique, coordination, muscle tone, flexibility, creativity, and self-discipline. The program combines classical ballet instruction with artistic expression, helping students build strong physical skills, confidence, and an appreciation for the art of dance. We invite all interested students to attend a trial class. After the trial class, those who wish to continue can register directly with the Shevchenko School of Ballet.

A new addition this year, offered by the Shevchenko School of Ballet, is the Folk Dance Class. Students will be introduced to traditional dances from different countries and cultures while developing coordination, rhythm, musicality, and movement skills. The program provides an engaging way to experience cultural traditions through music and dance.

STEM CLUBS

Math Atelier (6-8 years)
Math Atelier is designed for students who love mathematics and are eager to explore beyond the regular curriculum. Through engaging challenges, puzzles, and problem-solving activities, students will strengthen their logical reasoning, critical thinking, and mathematical creativity. The program encourages students to approach mathematics from different perspectives, discover patterns, develop strategies, and enjoy the challenge of solving interesting problems.

Competitive Math  (10-14 years)
An assessment is required before placement to ensure each student is placed at the appropriate level.
The Competitive Math Program is designed for students who love mathematics, are eager to explore beyond the regular curriculum, and are ready to challenge themselves at a competitive level. Students will develop their skills in four core areas—algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics—while working with past contest problems and advanced problem-solving strategies. The program focuses on building deep conceptual understanding, logical and critical thinking, and the ability to present solutions clearly and systematically.

LANGUAGES & COMMUNICATION CLUBS

Spanish (7-9 years)
Learning Spanish in a friendly and engaging environment starts here! This program is designed for students who already have basic knowledge of Spanish and are ready to continue developing their language skills. Students will strengthen their speaking, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing through interactive activities and structured practice. Join the group to build confidence, improve communication skills, and take your Spanish to the next level. 

Students will work with Spanish workbooks and other learning materials to reinforce the concepts introduced in class. A materials fee may apply to this club. 

French: Level CP-A1 (6-7 years)
French: Level CP to A1 is an introductory French program for students in Grades 1 and 2 who are beginning to build their French language skills. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, students will develop basic vocabulary and speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The program focuses on practical, everyday language, simple conversations, pronunciation, and building confidence in using French in a supportive, interactive environment.

Students will work with French workbooks and other learning materials to reinforce the concepts introduced in class. A materials fee may apply to this club to cover the cost of workbooks. 

French: Level A1 (8-9 years)
French: Level A1 is a French program for students ages 8–9 who are continuing to build their French language skills. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, students will develop basic vocabulary and speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The program focuses on practical, everyday language, simple conversations, pronunciation, and building confidence in using French in a supportive, interactive environment.

Students will work with French workbooks and other learning materials to reinforce the concepts introduced in class. Homework may be assigned to provide additional practice and support steady progress. A materials fee may apply to this club to cover the cost of workbooks. 

Russian RSL: Level 2 (8 years and up)
Russian as a Second Language is designed for students who are learning Russian as a foreign language. The program introduces and develops essential speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while building practical vocabulary and an understanding of basic grammar. Lessons are structured to help students gradually develop confidence in understanding and communicating in Russian.
Students will work with Russian workbooks and other learning materials to reinforce the concepts introduced in class. Homework may be assigned to provide additional practice and support steady progress. A materials fee may apply to this club to cover the cost of workbooks. 

Young Journalists (9 years and up)
Young Journalists is an after-school club for students ages 9 and up who are interested in journalism, storytelling, and media production. Students will learn how to research interesting topics, conduct interviews, and create their own written articles, audio reports, podcasts, and video stories. Through hands-on projects, young journalists will develop strong writing, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills while learning how ideas become engaging media content.

TIME TO PLAY… AND DO HOMEWORK!

Study & Play Atelier (all ages)

Students will have the opportunity to socialize, relax, and play together in a friendly after-school environment. For students in Grade 1 and up, the beginning of each session is designated as quiet homework time. Students are expected to complete their homework independently, as this program does not provide homework support or tutoring.
